When getting quotes for your Motor Car Insurance, choosing a higher voluntary excess will help to bring down the cost of your car insurance premiums because the insurer won't have to pay out so much in the event of a claim. On the flipside, this means that you'll be the one coughing up the extra cost if you have to make a claim.
Excess Protection insurance works alongside your normal motor car insurance policy. If you have to make a claim against your motor car policy, then you can claim on our Motor Excess Protection policy to recover the excess you have had to pay out. Motor Excess Protection can be particularly useful for young drivers, as increasing the excess can bring the premiums down by hundreds of pounds.
With our Motor Excess Protection policy, you can choose a claim limit of £250, £500, £750, £1000, £1500 and £2000.
Our prices start from
just £24 per year
You choose the claim limit to suit you. For example a policy with a limit of £1000 could allow one claim of £1000, or four claims of £250, you decide.
We also offer Multi Vehicle Family Excess Protection, if you want one policy to cover up to 5 vehicles
Finally... Motor Legal Expenses
You've been looking at our Excess Protection policy. Did you know that you don't have to buy your Motor Legal Expenses policy from your Motor Insurer, you can buy it separately?
Our standard Motor Legal Expenses is £20 per year, which is comparable with most policies that are sold by Insurers for between £25 and £30. For an extra £5 you can add Vehicle Replacement cover, ensuring that a courtesy car is available if not covered by your Motor Insurer. Why not take a look?
